Hi, I’m Karthik!

I am currently a Member of Technical Staff at Etched, working on model architecture and inference. I recently graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Mathematics and a BSH in Computer Science (systems), minoring in Economics. While at Stanford, I worked on mechanism design with Prof. Ravi Jagadeesan, direct preference optimization and causal inference with Prof. Vasilis Syrgkanis, and mathematical genetics with Prof. Noah Rosenberg. During college, I interned at Citadel Securities as a quantitative researcher and Qualcomm as a software engineer. Before that, I did research with the ASSISTments Lab and MIT PRIMES. I graduated from the Massachusetts Academy of Math & Science at WPI in 2022.
